a team effort
And so is ASAP! To fully understand sustainability in practice and act on Agenda 2030 it is important to see the whole picture. Learning how different sectors and industries operate and getting to know challenges and opportunities that lie ahead is a great start. Proactive companies and competent practitioners are already pushing things forward!
We believe that future sustainability leaders should get a chance to collaborate with professionals with experience, know-how and resources to drive real change. So, for each year of our sustainability leadership training we team up with partners from industries and sectors with huge potential to contribute to a more sustainable world.
Our 2018 partners
In 2018 we teamed up with partners from three major industries: transportation, finance, and technology. Together with Scania, Nordea, and Samsung we created the very first edition of ASAP's sustainability leadership training for students. It was a great success and all participants described it as a rewarding experience that they would recommend to other students!
“Through ASAP, we want to reach driven students with a sustainability-mindset and spark their interest in understanding and acting to help shift the transport sector in line with the Global Goals.”
– Andreas Follér, Sustainability Manager, Scania
“ASAP is a platform for collaboration where we can meet, motivate and inspire future leaders and also explore how we can drive innovation and use new technologies to overcome challenges facing our society today and tomorrow.”
– Elin Wallberg, Corporate Citizenship & Partnerships Manager, Samsung
"We have a responsibility to engage students in the financial sector's challenges and opportunities to contribute to the transition to a sustainable future. ASAP is an important initiative to accelerate competence and encourage cross-sector cooperation"
– Sasja Beslik, Head of Sustainable Finance, Nordea
